I was thinking about success and failure. The following Chinese proverb came to mind:
"“Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.”
How many times have you "fallen" and considered yourself a failure?
I think it might have probably happened one time too many.
My dad says that the only people who never make mistakes are those who do not work on anything at all.
Mistakes are a natural part of learning. We all make mistakes; we all "fall" at one time or another.
However, what is importat is that we learn from that mistake and then get up and try again.
It is only by perseverance that we can learn and become better at what we are doing, whether we are working on a relationship, a job, a hobby, or anything else that is on our path.
So, the next time you find yourself to the ground, independently of whether you put yourself there or someone else helped you, get up and try again.
