Beginnings and Endings

The inspirational quote I received on April 27 from Audri and Jim Lanford says:

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."
Maria Robinson

I like this quote. Whether we look at mistakes made in the past or at opportunities not taken, we cannot go back in time; however, we can start today choosing right over wrong and acting on opportunites we are given.

The same goes for wrongs done to us. We cannot go back and erase them, but we can start today with forgiveness in our hearts and the determination to let go of the past in exchange for a brighter future.

So my challenge to each of us is to read Robinson's words, ponder them, and act upon them.
